2 died, 2 Hurt in Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao


DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (June 10, 2018) – Two were died and two injured in Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway of Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur on June 9, 2018 at about 9:20 PM.

The involved vehicles described as:
a. One (1) unit single MC Honda XRM 110, color blue, bearing plate number JJ2237, and driven by Anthony Daulong Y Araya, 29 years old, married, resident of Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City together with his wife Jhoane Araya Y Lismoras, daughter Trixie Araya, 9 years old, and son John Kenneth Araya, 7 years old, all resident Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City;
b. One (1) unit Ford Ranger, color orange, bearing plate number AAS 1848, owned and driven by Raul Famor Y Fiel, 55 years old, married, businessman, and resident of Roxas, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted disclosed that subject single MC was traversing from Dumalinao Municipality going to Pagadian City, while the vehicle ford ranger was traversing from Guipos Municipality bound to Pagadian City.

While traversing at the abovementioned place of incident, the single MC was accidentally bumped from his behind by the fast moving vehicle ford ranger and same was dragged into the concrete road of said place.

As a result, the driver of single MC (Anthonydaulong Y Araya) and his wife Jhoane Araya Y Lismoras sustained serious injuries in the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center but pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. The daughter Trixie Araya, and son John Kenneth Araya, 7 years old, sustained serious injuries and confined at said hospital.

The driver of Ford ranger Mr. Raul Famor, was not hurt and is now under the custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition of the case.
