1 Pedestrian Hurt in Road Crash Accident

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 27, 2018) – A motor vehicular traffic accident transpired at Purok Maisan Brgy Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zambaonga del Sur at about 02:00 PM of December 26, 2018.

Wherein the pedestrian victim identified as Clea Villahermosa Perez, 19 years old, student and a resident of Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.

Initial investigation conducted by Dumalinao MPS disclosed that the victim allegedly suddenly crossed the road of the aforesaid place of incident unnoticed the incoming utility vehicle Nissan Navara color white with plate no FOT 560 owned and driven by Romeo Laranjo Acain, 34 years old, married, businessman, and a resident of Purok San Antonio, Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur that was traversing from Poblacion, Dumalinao road bound to Guipos road.

The accident was resulted the victim to sustained serious physical injury as her left leg was broken and was immediately brought to Jamellarin hospital for immediate medication.

2 Died in Road Crash Accident

DUMALINAO, Zambaonga Del Sur (Dec. 25, 2018) - Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired along the national highway of Purok Santan, Brgy Locuban Dumalinao, Zambaonga Del Sur at about 09:00 PM of December 24, 2018.

Vehicle/Motorcycle involved describe as;

V1 – one (1) SMC Skygo Hero red black with temporary plate no 0901-0327292 driven by Jonathan Aporado Timbawas, 17 years old, single, student a resident of Purok Kaymito, Brgy Anonang, ZDS together with his back rider Marvin Timbawas Gandamon , 16 years old, single, student and a resident of Purok Avocado, Brgy Buenavista, Pagadian City.

V2 – one (1) UV Mazda Titan Bongo red with temporary plate no 090102 registered in the name of Dexter Dalisay of Mampang Zamboanga City and was driven by Mark Anthony Amija Embores, 30 years old, married, a resident of Purok A, Brgy Lumbayao, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Initial investigation conducted Dumalinao MPS disclosed that V1 was traversing from Poblacion Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur bound to Pagadian City road that upon reaching the descending curve of the place of the incident, allegedly the driver traversed into the opposite lane and head on collision on V2 that resulted to the instantaneous death of the driver of V1 while his back rider was immediately rushed to Hamellarin Hospital, Pagadian City but was declared dead by the attending physician. 

V2 incurred heavily damage in its front body with no injury to the driver that was brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

30 Hurt, 1 Died in Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec.13, 2018) – One died, 30 hurt in Vehicular traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Bolinao, Barangay Pantad, Dumalinao, Zambaonga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM of December 12, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted Dumalinao MPS disclosed that one (1) Isuzu Elf with plate number TDC 971, color mint green loaded with more or less 30 passengers coming from a birthday celebration at Pantad Beach Dumalinao.

However, upon their way back home to Brgy Rebokon, Dumalinao and upon reaching the ascending road of Purok Bolinao Brgy Pantad Dumalinao, the driver Jerry Besade Omapas, 43 years old, resident of Purok Taleran Brgy Rebokon Dumalinao failed to engage the gear of his driven vehicle causing it to run backward and out of control until it fell over the cliff causing the vehicle turn upside down. Further all passengers were immediately rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center whom sustain physical injuries for medication while the other passenger identified as Melardo Bertodaso, 24 years old, farmer was declared dead on arrival by his attending physician.

Child Abuser Arrested

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Nov. 5, 2018) - PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS conducted police operation on Wanted Person at Purok Subis, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30am of November 4, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Solumon Sacapan y Puyos, 38 years old, married, Carpenter and a resident of Purok Subis, Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for crime of Child Abuse docketed under Criminal Case no. 14033-2K18 issued by Acting Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City, issued on October 10, 2018 at Pagadian City, Philippines with bail recommended of Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php80,000.00).

2 dead, 7 injured in Road crash accident

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 10, 2018) – Two persons were dead while seven others were injured in Road crash accident transpired along National Highway of PurokMaabtikon, BrgyPaglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur fronting Dumalinao Public Market at about 9:00am of October 9, 2018.

Investigation conducted by Dumalinao MPS disclosed that a six wheeler fish truck (icer) color blue, with plate # XFA 897 accidentally went out of control (malfunctioned brake) while travelling from the downward road of Dumalinao National Highway in high speed that sideswiped and damage the following vehicles;

(a) Toyota Corolla with plate # A1 F975 with CR # 292060613, OR # 1245659645 owned and driven by Reynaldo OrdinezaPilarca, 41 years old, resident of Imelda Zamboanga Sibugay equipped with active PDL no G09-10-001426; 

(b) Toyota Wigo with MVP file # 1001-00000217888 registered in the name of Renemie Galvez of Pob. Bayog ZDS driven by Noel Pabucaya Galvez Jr, 33 years, old equipped with NPDL no N01-07-007731,

(c) Mitsubishi Truck with CR # 14684210-2, OR # 1393319233 registered in the name of EdnalynUnda of Pagadian City, driven by Rogelio JalangUnda ,59 years old, a resident of Upper PulacanLabangan, equipped with PDL no JO3-97-023389,

(d) single MC XRM no plate number with CR # 215087622 ,OR # 760166676 registered in the name of EseamBebitan of DitorayPag City driven by Ruben PantaoBebitan, 51 years old , resident of DitorayPag City equipped with PDL # J03-08-000844;

(e) Phil Army Truck 44IB with red plate # SKM 308 based at Imelda, Sibugay, driven by SSG Anthony Frando of Suguidan Sur, Naguilian La Union, 38 years old with PDL license # A1500002344; and

(f) Dump truck with plate # RFP 189.    

The twoCasualties of the accident were identified as the following

(a)    Ariel BasisterNapalcruz, 31 years old, married, a resident of Talon-talon, Zamboanga City (dead on the spot);

(b)    Mario RolaBalabag, 51 years old, married and resident of San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur (dead on arrival at the hospital);

The following persons listed below who suffered injuries and contusions were identified namely as:

(a)    CPL Fedilo N Tabotabo, 44th IB, Phil Army, Imelda, Zambo Sibugay;

(b)    RonieOberesAsilo, 40 years old, married, brgy sanitary worker, resident of Brgy Mabuhay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur;

(c)    EsterlitaOberesAsilo, 66 years old, married, resident of Brgy Mabuhay, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur;

(d)    SimplicioSiaoNovalSr, 49 years old, married, resident of Prk 4, BrgyGatub, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur (truck man of Fish Truck Icer);

(e)    Juldan E Aiyadi, 21 years old, single, resident of Prk 3, Mampang, Zambo City (truck man of Fish Truck Icer);

(f)     Liezel Pepito, 24 years old, single, businesswoman and resident of Lower Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur; and

(g)    Milky Magsayo, 26 years old, single, resident of Bibilop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigator is PO3 Keene James T Jayme with contact # 09102490367. 

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO. Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 18, 2018) -  A Motor vehicular traffic accident (MVTA) transpired at about 5:20 PM of September 14, 2018 along the National Road Boundary of Barangay Tickwas crossing of Purok Magallanes, Barangay Malasik, all of Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accident was involving one utility passenger van (Nissan Brand), color white with black combination on his lower part of the vehicles body with Plate Nr GSB-539, owned and registered under the name of certain Mr Ezomarr Nitollama, a resident of Poblacion Lapuyan. The vehicle was driven by Melvin Christian Lahagan Montibon, 25, married, and a resident of Purok Villiana, Barangay Salambuyan, Poblacion Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Accordingly while traversing on the abovementioned placed, the said driver accidentally loss control of his vehicle due to mechanical brake failure in which the said driver eluded one passenger van on his front and overtaking going to his right side of the road in which also during that time disembarking passengers.

As a result instantaneously hitting/bumped the following persons namely:

Michael Rullen, 33 yrs. old, married, a conductor by profession and a resident of Purok Bonifacio, Brgy Tickwas, Dumalinao,

One bystander named Cesar Carpentero Dela Torre, 20, single, student, and a resident of Purok Magallanes, Brgy Tickwas, Dumalinao, and three other passengers from the passenger van namedly:

Jessel Gaston, 24 yrs. old, single, plain housewife by proffession with his one month old baby and her mother

Mrs Kristina Gaston, 47 yrs old, both resident of Purok Marang, Barangay Malasik, Dumalinao.

All victims’ suffered head contusions; fractured legs, thigh and knees, and multiple serious physical injuries to the different parts of their bodies were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment, while the baby is now under observation by the doctors at Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao Pagadian City.

Dead Body Found in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept 14, 2018) -  A dead body was found at Purok Pag-asa, Brgy Bibilik, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 AM of September 12, 2018.

Immediately, PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS together with Dr Patrick Kean Toledo, municipal doctor proceeded to the above-mentioned place and found one dead body later identified as Alex Balagot Diana, 42 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok Bay-bay Uno, Poloyagan, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted that the victim was seen having a drinking session with his relatives Nelson Arcenal and Manie Estoya.

Later, the victim went to swim at the nearby shore during high tide and to their surprise saw the victim floating along the shore already lifeless and believe that the victim was accidentally drown due to strong sea current. The relatives already claimed the cadaver.

Top No. 5 Most Wanted in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur, Captured

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 10, 2018) -  The Joint PNP Personnel of Tukuran MPS, Dumalinao MPS, Sultan Naga Dimaporo MPS and Regional Intelligence Unit 9 successfully arrested the Top 5 Most Wanted Person during the conduct of manhunt operation at Purok 6, Brgy. Sugod, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Del Norte at about 4:30pm of September 09, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested wanted person as Joven Labor Y Dalingding Aka Joven, 32 years old, fisherman, married, a resident of Barangay Metokong, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.

The accuaed was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder, Frustrated Murder, Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case no. 10621-2K12, 11038-2K13, 11377-2K13 issued by Judge Judge Dennis P. Vicoy, Acting Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 21, 9th Judicial Region Pagadian City.

The WOA was was issued on August 8, 2012 and April 8, 2014 with No Bail bond recommended. 

The arrested wanted person was listed as Top No. 5 Most Wanted (Municipal Level) in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur and is now under custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. 

Accomplishment on Recovered Loose Firearms

DUMALINAO, ZamboSur (Aug. 2018) - On August 23, 2018 at about 11:30 AM, the person of Dominador Flores Espinosa, 65 years old, married, driver, a resident of Purok Manga Brgy Camanga Dumalinao Zamboanga del Sur, personally appeared to Dumalinao MPS and reported that he was been pointed by a gun by certain Alijandro Hermoso Capuyan, a resident of Purok Upper Dongoan Brgy Rebokon Dumalinao Zamboanga del Sur, while he was driven grader for road repair from Brgy Pantad bound to Brgy Metokong, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur for no apparent reason.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP element of Dumalinao MPS together with the victim, responded and proceeded to the aforesaid place of incident at Purok Upper Dongoan, Brgy Rebokon, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur and successfully arrested one Alijandro Hermoso Capuyan, 56 years old, married, school guard of Rebokon Elementary School, whom under the influenced of liquor and positively identified by the victim who pointed him a gun.

Recovered from the possession and control of the suspect is one caliber .45 with markings 1911-A1 45 ACP with serial no 121401 with one magazine inserted and loaded with four live ammunition. Suspect is now under the custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

3 injured in Road Crash Accident

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 7, 2018) –Vehicular accident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Malipayon, barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00pm of August 6 2018. 

The PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS responded and proceeded to the aforesaid place of incident and found out that two pedestrian identified as Paulita Legaspi Sanico, 65 years old, married housewife and Dioscil Legaspi Sanico , 26 years old, single both a resident of Purok Subis Barangay Sumadat Dumalinao was accidentally bumped by a single motorcycle Skygo. 

The motorcycle was driven by Cornelio Domiguez Arellano Jr, 60 years old, driver and a resident of Balongating, Guipos under the heavy rain fall. 

Investigation conducted by Dumalinao MPS disclosed that the said single motorcycle was traversing from Guipos road bound to Barangay Sumadat Dumalinao, and that upon reaching place of incident allegedly the driver did not noticed the two pedestrian due to the heavy rainfall that resulted to the driver accidentally bumped the victims. The victims sustain physical injuries to different part of their body.

The driver and the two pedestrian was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur medical center, Dao, Pagadian City for their medication. Investigator case PO2 Keene James T Jayme with contact # 09102490367.

Mauling Incident

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 7, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS while conducting Mobile Patrol at Barangay Anonang, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 PM of Augus 6, 2018, held the person of Felix Wayco Caputolan, 37 years old, Driver and a resident of Purok nangka Barangay Anonang Dumalinao. Accordingly.

The suspect who was under the influence of liquor got mad in unacceptable manner and mauled one Jovencio Capotulan Y Alina, 69 years old, driver in profession and a resident of Purok Nangka, Barangay Anonang Dumalinao, who is his neighbor without any apparent reason. The victim sustained contusion to different part of his body and was advice to conduct medical examination.

The Said suspect was brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. Said incident was referred to Barangay. Investigator on case is PO2 Keene James T Jayme with contact # 09102490367.

Road Crash Incident in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Aug. 3, 2018) – Road crash incident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Kalinis Brgy Pag-asa Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 02, 2018 at about 09:00 AM.

The MC and Vehicle involved described as:

MC A = one single MC TMX color black, no plate with an extension for a fish carrier, owned and driven by Julito Gamolo Revelo, 40, married, fish vendor, resident of Purok Antorium , Brgy Pantad Dumalinao  Zamboaga del Sur.                      

Vehicle B = one forward truck with plate no MCK 325 driven by Raul Waga Yap, 54, resident of St. Maria Dist, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted disclosed that MC A was traversing from Pagadian City bound to Brgy Pantad Dumalinao that upon reaching the intersection of Purok Kalinis, Brgy Pag-asa, Dumalinao. Upon signaling to turn left allegedly and surprisingly Vehicle B appeared from behind and overtook without due care that resulted to sideswiped the MC A and damage its loaded of two boxes of fish.

Further investigation revealed that the driver of Vehicle B was under the influenced of liquor. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident and both drivers were brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

1 injured in Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO, ZambSur (Aug. 1, 2018) – One injured in Vehicular accident transpired along Barangay Road of Purok Badian Barangay Paglaum Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30am of July 27, 2018.

The accident was involving a single MC Rusi color black with plate no 5787 SA, driven by Julie Vasquez Piedad, 27 years old, gasoline boy, resident of Purok Mangga Brgy Upper Dumalinao. He allegedly bumped a pedestrian identified Bernadeth Casil Castañares , 62 years old, and  a resident Purok Badian Brgy Paglaum Dumalinao  Zamboanga del Sur. 

Investigation conducted disclosed that the said single MC was traversing from Brgy Upper Dumalinao bound to Poblacion Dumalinao and upon reaching the place of incident, pedestrian Bernadeth Casil Castañares suddenly crossed the road unnoticed the incoming single MC which causes the victim to accidentally bump by the incoming single MC.

The victim sustains physical injury to different part of her body and was immediately rushed to Pagadian City for medication, while the driver voluntarily surrenders to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

3 injured in road mishap

DUMALINAO, ZamboSur (June 26, 2018) – Three injured in motorcycle collision transpired along the National Highway of Purok Malipayon, Barangay Locuban, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur at about 9:57 in the morning of June 25, 2018.

PO2 Keene James T Jayme, Investigator on case said that the accident involving two motorcycles:

MC-1 - single motorcycle Suzuki, blue/white with plate number JA 11231 driven by Lamberto Dinsay Duenas, 65 years old, married, a resident of West Capitol Road, Pagadian City with active PDL JO3-76-005116 and

MC-2 - single motorcycle XR 200 red, no plate number driven by Osias Lim San Opod, 52 years old, married and with his back rider Virgenia Villabito Vaselisco, 59 years old both resident of Purok 1, Baguitan Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.

Initial Investigation conducted by Dumalinao MPS disclosed that both vehicle were traversing from Poblacion Dumalinao bound to Pagadian City. Upon reaching at Purok Malipayon, Barangay Locuban, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur allegedly MC-1 Suzuki Raider suddenly attempt to turned left but unnoticed its signal by the incoming MC-2 single XR 200 from its behind causing the MC-1 meet into contact.

PO2 Jayme added that both drivers and passenger sustained physical injury to different parts of their body and was immediately brought to Dumalinao Health Center for medication while both driven single MC incurred damages and was brought to Dumalinao MPs for proper disposition.

Widow Held for Violation of RA 3019

DUMALINAO, ZamboSur (June 25, 2018) - PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS arrested a widow during the conduct of police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 1:30 PM of June 23, 2018 at Purok Maabtikon, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.

Police identified the arrested person as Ananie C Raluto, 62 years old, widow and a resident Purok Maabtikon, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Romeo T. Descallar of RTC, Branch 19, Pagadian City for Violation of Sec. 3 (e) R.A.  3019, as amended (OMB-C-C-11-0816-L) docketed under criminal case no. 13876-2k18 with a bail recommended of Thirty Thousand Pesos (30,000.00) for her temporary liberty.

The accused is now temporary detained at Dumalinao MPS detention cell awaiting for court disposition.
