Wanted Person Arrested in Dumalinao

PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS proceeded to Purok Maisan, Barangay Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 O’clock in the morning of May 24, 2018 to serve the Warrant Of Arrest.

The operating team successfully arrested the suspect identified as Jubane Mangay Quilar, 23 years old, single, resident of the above mention place for a crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property.

The Warrant of Arrest was issued by Pacifico T. Cimafranca Jr., presiding Judge dated April 18, 2018, 9th Judicial Region, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 3414-D.

Accused is now temporary detained at Dumalinao MPS lock-up cell while waiting the court order of the issuing court for proper disposition.

Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident in Dumalinao

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga del Sur (May 3, 2018) - A Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Talaba, Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao of this province Wednesday at about 8:00pm.

Upon receipt of said report, PNP elements of Dumalinao MPS immediately responded and proceeded to the pace of incident to conduct ocular inspection and investigation.

Upon arrival thereat, the team found out one (1) single motorcycle, Raider, black with temporary plate no. 0920-967759 accidentally bumped a motor vehicle with cab number 0120, Barako, color black with no plate no.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, said single motorcycle Raider color black driven by Vernel Cabantal Harilla, 16 years old, single, student, no driver’s license, and a resident of Purok Marang, Barangay Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was traversing from Barangay Sumadat bound to Barangay Sebucao and upon reaching at the place of incident accidentally bumped the said motor vehicle driven by Lorenzo Belotendos Moncilla, 72 years old, married a resident of Purok Sebatang, Pagadian City who was traversing from the municipality of Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur bound to Poblacion Dumalinao.

As a result, both drivers sustained injuries to the different parts of their body and were immediately rushed to Pagadian City Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City.

Dumalinao MPS with contact no. 09102490367 is now conducting follow-up investigation regarding the incident. Both vehicles are now impounded at Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. (By Jong Cadion)

Campaign against Illegal Logging

DUMALINAO,Zamboanga del Sur (May 2, 2018)  PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS conducted mobile patrol operation at Barangay Pag-Asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:40 AM on May 1, 2018.

The operation resulted to the interception of one (1) Isuzu elf truck, color white, bearing plate number glk 663, and driven by Melvin Evidientes, 34 years old, married, and resident of Barangay Upper Dumalinao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The vehicle was loaded with mahogany and gemilina lumber with estimated scale of 1,000 board feet, owned by certain Josefina C Llavado, legal age, and resident of Barangay Camalig, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Accordingly, the lumber was sold to Rogelia A Facelo, legal age and resident of Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The driver of the vehicle failed to present legal documents/permit for transport to said lumber, thereby the vehicle to include the lumber were turned over to CENRO-Guipos municipality this province thru Mr. Romulo A Alimanza, NGP Extension Officer for proper disposition.
